Marcus Possingham gained a degree in fine art Sculpture from the Victorian College of the Arts [1990].He is a sculptor and Project Artist working for community festivals and events. He has a leadership position with the Clare based disability support group the Superstars. Is learning new skills supporting Disability led film advocacy Committee Sit Down Shut Up and Watch. The Shadows Dancing [2008] film he produced won the award for Film of the Festival, Eat My Shorts youth short film event and was screened in Adelaide during the short film festival.
Marcus helped to secure a Project Arts Grant from Arts SA to get Hip Hop Artist/Director Morganics to put on a cross agency event [Welcome to My World] 2011 in Clare focusing on the Superstars group. This was a tremendous success bringing new ideas and skills into the Clare regional community.
In 2011 Marcus and artist college Roland Weight made two four meter high modelled steel Sculptures of Edward John Eyre and Aboriginal guide Whylie for the regional Council of Kimba, these Artworks have been noted as positive recollection Artworks.
